Welcome to this, our eleventh edition of YTC’s Ski and Snowboard website.

Looking back over the 2008/2009 skiing season and the 2009 summer season, I am greatly satisfied that it was a very good year with more Maltese guests discovering and, in many cases, re-discovering the unique pleasure of a YTC holiday. Whether it was on the snowy slopes of Livigno, the rolling Tuscan countryside at La Nuvola, or the charming Alpine summer in Livigno, you trusted my team and I with your holiday, and the feedback which I received validated your trust.

One of the greatest sources of satisfaction to me is the fact that so many of YTC’s travellers are frequent guests who have joined us for their holidays time and time again. A source of pride for my team and I is to meet old friends every year and to meet new ones who have joined us for the first time on the recommendation of family and friends who have experienced one of our holidays. These testimonials to our holiday product are very important to me and much appreciated, while confirming that my team and I are achieving our aim to provide the best possible holiday experience, giving our guests holiday memories to treasure.

In fact other foreign tour operators in Livigno have actually criticised me for providing too much care and attention to my clients on resort and off, but I take pride in the fact that YTC offers a totally unique, personalised service, tailor-made to provide for the needs of Maltese holidaymakers. Every person is an important guest to me, and not only will I continue to give the level of customer care that I have always done, but I will continuously try to improve upon it with each season, through my personal long term business relationships with hoteliers and service providers. In Livigno, YTC’s guests enjoy a level of respect and attention in shops, bars and restaurants which clients of other foreign tour operators envy.

On resort I believe that my team gives a first class, unique level of service, which is attentive, personal and above all professional. YTC’s guests are not left alone, to fend for themselves in a foreign country. As a YTC guest you have a friendly, familiar face nearby, someone who speaks your language and most importantly someone who cares that your holiday is a success.

The overall skiing experience provided by YTC just cannot be compared with that given by someone who has taken a booking over the internet, for whom a guest is just a number or a booking printout off a computer. With YTC you are an individual, a family or a group of friends who have personal value and importance. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the YTC Ski Team, Mariano, Eleonora, Joe, Charles, Kevin and Andy for all of their dedication and hard work, together with all my service providers who each contribute to making your holiday the best possible.

This year I have added a new winter destination, Andalo, which is in the Trentino region of the Italian Dolomites. I have skied there several times with my ski team and believe that you will find it as charming and fun as we did. Our guests will receive the same level of service in Andalo as they do in Livigno, as Mariano and Eleonora will also be in Andalo in the group departure dates. I have also included a group departure to Wagrain in Austria as Wagrain is enjoyed by all who visit it, something I would like to repeat this year. Both Andalo and Wagrain are also available for small groups and individual travellers this winter.

I have finally found the time to do what lots of clients have asked, and that is to add a new summer destination to join our ever popular summer groups to Livigno and La Nuvola Farmhouse in Tuscany. I have selected Wagrain in summer as a new group departure in July. I am sure that the lakes and stunning mountain vistas will enchant you as much as they did me.
