YTC had started offering skiing holidays to Wagrain some 20 years ago, and after a short break, has restarted organising group departures and small groups according to request, in accordance with YTC's standards. Wagrain is best appreciated by good to expert skiers, as it forms part of the biggest ski area in all of Austria, the Ski Amade ski region in the Salzburger Land. The Wagrain ski area lies in the midst of this ski region and is itself one of the best ski areas, with over 350 kilometres of first class ski runs.

The pistes are maintained to the highest standards with excellent snow cannon facilities, ensuring suitable snow conditions right down into the village throughout the season.

A winter getaway in Wagrain is not just about skiing. Many visitors come to Wagrain to enjoy the charm of this family-friendly winter region and to enjoy the heartfelt hospitality of the Wagrainers, who have a very cheerful disposition. This disposition is best manifested during après ski, when the Wagrainers join in the fun with their guests.The party just keeps on going till the early hours of the morning, with karaoke shows, live bands and special events.

Wagrain also boasts of a state-of-the-art indoor adventure pool, Sportsweld Amade, with several facilities such as a sauna facility, large pools, aroma grotto, Finnish sauna, etc.

Our hotel in Wagrain is a brand-new three-star hotel, which is central and family-run. This hotel has already hosted YTC guests in summer who were very pleased with the hospitality provided.
