Andalo, Brenta Dolomites

Great for beginners or intermediate skiers wanting to improve their technique, Andalo in the Brenta Dolomites is a family friendly resort at 1,040 metres offering an interesting diversity of skiing.

The area is extremely beautiful with stunning Dolomite backdrops, excellent ski runs radiating from the peak, stretching either into Andalo or the nearby resort of Fai della Paganella. The red run to Fai is particularly beautiful with breathtaking views. Andalo is situated on a wide plateau between the Brenta Dolomites and the Paganella massif.

The on-piste facilities of Andalo include over sixty kilometres of varying levels of difficulty with several pistes winding their way through the trees. Beginning at 2,125 metres at the peak to which access is provided by a network of new technologically advanced ski lifts, the fully converted runs have an hourly capacity of 2,600 people.

The wide curving slopes are expertly groomed and maintained with the natural snow cover being supported by an impressive artificial snow cannon system that can guarantee downhill trails being covered throughout the season. On Mount Paganella can be found the renowned ‘3-Tre’ piste which has seen unforgettable performances from legendary champions such as Zeno Colò and Celina Seghi who, over forty years ago, started the famous World Cup competition here on the slopes of Fai della Paganella. Andalo is very suitable for beginners as well as intermediate skiers, and is a resort that you will remember with pleasure for years to come.

The town’s attractions, apart from the excellence of its skiing, include a wide range of bars and restaurants plus enough sports facilities to fulfil most extra activity needs, including a newly built sports centre, an ice stadium, indoor swimming pool, cinema and discotheque on two floors.
