This year we at YTC are looking forward to a good season full of skiing opportunities with weekly departures to our main resort, Livigno, and departures to other resorts which YTC has been promoting over the past years.

Wagrain, a long time favourite with YTC skiers, is available for small groups of friends and families throughout the season, together with a group departure available in January. Andalo in the Italian Dolomites is similarly available, while Bormio is available for small groups of individual travellers.

Livigno

The high altitude in Livigno is one of the major reasons this skiing resort is so popular. The skiing season is extremely long, and starts earlier than most resorts, and invariably finishes later. When Easter comes late in the year, as in last year’s season, our clients were still skiing on the upper slopes on 27th April, while other resorts were already grazing their cows on green meadows.

Livigno starts where many other European resorts stop. At 1816 metres, the village of Livigno is high, higher than the top of the mountain in many other skiing resorts. Skiing for beginners is carried out on the lower slopes while the higher slopes tower over the village, at a magnificent altitude of 3000 metres. No wonder Livigno skiers can always rely on good snow conditions.

Andalo, Brenta Dolomites

Andalo is an excellent resort for beginners and intermediate skiers. The village is located in an extremely beautiful setting with distinctive Dolomite scenery adding to the pleasure of interestingly diverse skiing. This extremely family friendly resort has over 60km of wide, well groomed pistes, several of which wind their way through trees.

Wagrain, Austria

YTC had started offering skiing holidays to Wagrain some 20 years ago, and after a short break, has restarted organising group departures and small groups according to request, in accordance with YTC's standards. Wagrain is best appreciated by good to expert skiers, as it forms part of the biggest ski area in all of Austria, the Ski Amade ski region in the Salzburger Land. The Wagrain ski area lies in the midst of this ski region and is itself one of the best ski areas, with over 350 kilometres of first class ski runs.

Sicily

Last April, YTC teamed up with Go Sicily Properties to offer some very scenic, and relaxing and exclusive 1-day and 3-day tours by catamaran to the provinces of Ragusa, Siracusa and Catania, thus enabling you to get a taste of what this wonderful region of Sicily, so close to us has to offer. Following the success of these short breaks, we are now also introducing for the forthcoming Winter 2011 / Spring 2012 season a wider range of 1-day and 3-day tours by sea and by air. We have 3 different day-tours and two different 3-day tours to choose from. We are also offering special tailor made holidays for large groups and organizations.
