Tuscany in Summer

Beautiful scenery, magnificent architecture, typical food and wine, wonderful weather that is warm during the day and pleasantly cool in the evening, serene and beautiful landscapes, a fascinating history and a tradition of hospitality stretching back centuries ... Where? Where else other than Tuscany, permanently in the top ten holiday destinations of the world.

For over eleven years YTC have been organising trips to La Nuvola. Situated at the end of a winding (2km) track, at the top of a hillside in South Tuscany, La Nuvola Farmhouse sits in splendour surrounded on all sides by trees , countryside and the wide Tuscan sky. No traffic noise, no intrusions, no pollution... just pure fresh air, magnificent views, birdsong, wildlife, flowers and nature in its most relaxing state. To sit and look up at the clear night sky, with the millions of stars seemingly at arms reach away is almost worth the trip alone.

La Nuvola is a traditional farmhouse of the region, refurbished expertly to give all modern comforts and convenience, without spoiling its character.

Among the facilities available are a fresh water swimming pool, bicycles, archery, lots of chairs and sunloungcrs dotted around under the many fruit trees (or quiet areas of relaxation or just to enjoy the splendid surrounding open area of meadowland.

Inside the farmhouse you arc accommodated in traditional style rooms. Each of the seven rooms has modern bathroom facilities en suite for your comfort and all rooms have views of the garden I woodland and beyond. La Nuvola has a maximum capacity of sixteen adults at anytime. You may join one of YTC groups, as a family, couple or individual.

Group departures are checked in at the airport by a YTC representative and upon arrival at Rome are met by La Nuvola owners, Mariano or Eleonora (who is Maltese), for transfer in a private mini bus to the farmhouse.

Both Mariano and Eleonora are very well known 10 Maltese, as Mariano is also YTC’s ski co ordinator and instructor in winter and Eleonora takes care of YTC's winter groups . This couple will be your hosts, and will be driving and guiding you during your stay at La Nuvola. Upon departure, guests will be checked in by Mariano or Eleonora at Rome for their return flight to Malta.
