One day trips to Sicily

YTC and Go Sicily Properties, will also be organizing exclusive one–day trips to Sicily.

The beautiful  areas to be  visited will be the baroque towns of Ragusa Ibla and Modica, as also typical Sicilian villages such as Giarratana and San Giacomo. These locations are also situated close to each other, in order to limit the amount of travelling to a minimum. This is a very enjoyable day, with plenty of time to soak in the stunning scenery. A delicious home-cooking six course Sicilian meal in a typical agriturismo has also been included in the price.

Programme

We meet at Valletta Port Virtu Ferries Catamaran departure point (near Transport Malta building) at 5.45 for departure to Pozzallo with the Catamaran Jean de la Valette, the fifth largest Catamaran in the world.

Modica Bassa
We arrive in Pozzallo at 8.30 and our private coach will take us to Modica Bassa situated about 30 mins away . Free time for coffee followed by free time in Modica Bassa with enough time to visit the Duomo di San Giorgio / Duomo di San Pietro, the Corso, a chocolate shop and Sicilian delicatessen.

Meal at Agriturismo and Lago di Santa Rosalia
At 12. 00 our private coach will take us to an Agriturismo situated about 30 minutes away, in the Giarratana / San Giacomo area for a typical six course lunch including free flowing wine and mineral water. After lunch we visit the Lago Santa Rosalia with some free time there.

Ragusa Ibla
At 14.45 our private coach will take us to Ragusa Ibla about 30 mins away. Free time to visit the Corso, Duomo di San Giorgio and maybe also the Botanic Gardens.

Centro Commerciale
At 15.45 we leave Ragusa Ibla to go to Le Masserie Centro Commerciale in Ragusa situated about 15 mins away. Free time in this shopping paradise will be followed by private coach transfer to be in Pozzallo at 18.15

We board the Catamaran which leaves Pozzallo at 19.30 and arrives in Malta at 21.15.
