Short breaks in Sicily

Places of interest to be visited include, Noto, Siracusa, Modica, Ragusa Ibla , as well as a large shopping centre in Ragusa …

Travelling time from one place to another has been kept to a minimum, in order to enable you to enjoy the full 3 days holiday that this exclusive tour offers.

Accomodation on Half Board basis is in a superior 3* Hotel, the Idyllic Hotel Antica Stazione, which is a converted old railway station in the outskirts of the pleasant town of Chiaramonte

Friday

We meet at the Valleta port to board  the MV Jean de la Vallette, which Depatures at 6.45 am to arrive  at 0830 in Pozzallo port.

Transfer by private coach to Siracusa (40 minutes journey).

We will be visiting various places of interest including the Duomo, the lungomare, the Diana fountain. There will also be time for shopping

Free time for lunch will be followed by a transfer by private coach (20 minutes journey) to the city of Noto (UNESCO World Heritage site)  where we will be visiting the Duomo, Palazzo Ducezio, Via Nicolaci and other places of interest.

Late afternoon transfer by private coach (60 minutes scenic journey) to our superior 3* hotel, the idyllic Hotel Antica Stazione, which is a converted old railway station in the outskirts of the pleasant town of Chiaramonte (view hotel on www.anticastazione.com )

Evening dinner at Hotel

Saturday

Buffet Breakfast at our hotel followed by transfer by private coach (50 minutes scenic journey) to the city of Caltagirone, UNESCO World Heritage site also famous for its production of ceramics. We will be visiting the Centro Storico, with plenty of free time to stroll round the various ceramic shops, and the world famous scala Santa Maria.

In the early afternoon, a private coach scenic journey (50 minutes away) to Centro Commerciale Ibleo, Ragusa (Hypermarket with around 50 shops) with free time for shopping

Transfer by private coach (10 minutes journey) to our hotel in Chiaramonte followed by evening dinner at our Hotel

After dinner our private coach  will take us to Ragusa Ibla by night with time for a stroll in the centro

Sunday

Buffet Breakfast at our hotel, followed by check out from our hotel.

Transfer by private coach (30 minutes) to the beautiful town of Modica, UNESCO World Heritage site also famous for its chocolate production. We will visit the Corso, the Duomo San Pietro, and the Duomo San Giorgio, the Centro Storico, with free time to walk in the typical narrow roads that Modica is so famous for.

This will be followed  by private coach transfer (30 minutes) to a typical Sicilian Agriturismo within the beautiful for a sumptuous 6-course lunch including Sicilian wine, desserts, coffee and liquor (cost: EUR 25 all inclusive not included in price)

This will be followed by some free time to explore the Lago Santa Rosalia, where one can enjoy the quiet settings of this beautiful lake.
We then vist the port town of Pozzallo for a stroll along the Corso. Time to buy delicious Sicilian pastries from Dolceria Cappello.

Transfer to Pozzallo port in time to board the brand new catamaran MV Jean de la Valette, which  arrives at the Valletta port at 23.00
