Snowmobiles & Quadbikes
By far the most popular activities with YTC’s guests, snowmobiles and quadbikes will put a smile on your face that will last for hours. Whizzing across the frozen lakes following a custom designed circuit you can mix speed with fun, fun, fun. Lots of Maltese visitors try this more than once, lots of thrills and lots of buzz.

Go-Karting On Ice
All the thrills and action of regular go-karting, only this is on the ice. If you like your fun packed with a little extra adrenaline this is the activity for you... another great favourite with YTC’s groups.

Out of Town
Two of the most popular trips out of Livigno are St. Moritz, just over the border in Switzerland and the Roman Thermal Baths in Bormio, a short bus ride away. St Moritz offers attractions for both skiers and non skiers. A day on St. Moritz’s slopes is great fun (for advanced skiers only) while non skiers can spend the day in the shops, bars and restaurants of St. Moritz town which is renowned as one of Europe’s millionaires’ playgrounds.

The Thermal Baths in Bormio date back to Roman times and give an experience which has been enjoyed for almost 2000 years. Luxuriate in the natural hot spring waters, totally relaxing in any of several different treatment areas, swim outside in the hot pool cut into the mountainside or book a specialist massage treatment... try this day out and discover what relaxation really means.

These are just a few of the many things to do in Livigno, the choice is up to each guest or, of course, you can just choose to take gentle walks around the village and spoil yourself in the shops... the idea is to enjoy yourself and Livigno is the perfect place to do just that.

Sledging... fun for everyone
For both skiers and non skiers our sledging sessions take place in the late afternoon/early evening on a slope dedicated to sledges. Lots of fun for the whole family to share... it is not unusual to find three generations of a family on sledges all enjoying the fun together.

Ice Skating
Situated close to the centre of town the ice skating rink is open well into the evening (approximately 10pm). With floodlights and music this is an opportunity to enjoy a gentle activity with friends and family, followed by a nice warm drink when you hang your skates up.

Tyre Sliding
Very popular with both skiers and non skiers tyre sliding is simple and lots and lots of fun. All you do is sit in a large inflated tyre inner tube and just slide down the special twisting and turning run... not quite as easy as it sounds and more laughs than you can imagine.

Night Skiing/ Snowboarding
On Thursday night a selected piste is floodlit until 10pm to give skiers and boarders a different experience on the snow. The temperature drops dramatically and the freshly groomed piste is firm and crisp so wrap up well in your warmest gear and be prepared for fast action on the slope. It really is a quite different experience to regular daylight activity and very thrilling.

Horse-riding
Riders of every level of ability can spend time taking in the magic of the snowy Alpine scenery which Livigno has in abundance. Under the supervision of expert local guides, guests can follow the trails through the trees of Livigno’s lower slopes and be enchanted by the scenery and the crisp, clean air. For those who want an even more sedate equine experience then there is also the option of horse drawn open carriage rides... wrap up nice and warm and experience the snow from a different perspective (an ideal choice for families with very young children).
